The Merriam – Webster dictionary defines votive as consisting of or expressing a vow, wish, or desire.

Originally the word votive was used to describe a gesture offered or performed in fulfillment of a vow or in gratitude or devotion. This usage of the word votive carries into many aspects of what we try to bring you through our service in the candle industry. SpringHouse Candles and Scents makes a pledge with you to bring you the highest quality, most richly scented candle votives we can offer. As an expression of our gratitude to you, we would like to educate you on what goes into our jar candles and especially in this area, our votives.

In order to be a SpringHouse Candles votive, this small squat candle starts out with some of the finest wax we can find. All of the work which goes into making these votive candles is purely “by hand.” There isn’t one candle we offer that is not individually touched and inspected so we can be assured we will hold up our fulfillment of our promise of quality to you. After the wax is prepared, the votive cups we use shape the votives into the signature, short candle stature we all have come to love. Because of the quantity of our highly scented fragrance we use in these votive candles (which are above and beyond any industry standards) these votives have some of the richest quality aroma you will find. While burning, the votive uses its paper core wick, containing no metal and no lead. This ensures quality and purity throughout the burn time of your individual votive you have chosen.

As you burn one of our votive candles, you will notice an immediate change in the atmosphere of your home. The magnificent throw from our votives fills an entire room with your favorite fragrance.
